I just watched the fallout on the Tiger Woods so called apology, well what can you say. I feel so sorry for his wife, and can you believe that porn star who thinks she is owed an apology, and Gloria Allred her attorney, attorney for what? I think Tiger Woods' wife is owed the apology, the tramp should, if she had a shred of decency about her go and hide her face. We do not want to see her, enough on that. I am glad we are having better weather, the snow was beautiful and we enjoyed it but the last few days have really been nice, no sun today but not raining and not cold. I have been so busy lately, just working on a few projects and haven't even had time to watch American Idol this week. In fact we were going to see Shutter Island today, but just too busy. Maybe next week. I hear the Shutter Island Reviews are pretty good, can't wait, besides anything Leo is in is fine with me.
I am working on my English Country Cottage Sitting Room and will post some pics next week, hope I can get some suggestions on my decorating. I am still new at this blogging thing, guess it is kinda like facebood, just post what you are doing and feeling and hope others communicate back, kinda cool. Until next time...

little white cottage in the snow in all lower states texas

This is really exciting to have a blog, something I always heard about but never really thought I would have. I am so loving the snow here in Texas but will be so glad when spring gets here. I am also looking forward to the 2010 winter olympics events and again just winter being over with. It is just so sad about the uah university of alabama shooting. I know all of us who have children in college and away from home can't help but feel sad about some of the things that go on on our college campuses these days. Also can't hardly believe there is snow in all 50 states this year, but we sure got it here in Texas. Oh well back to the olympics, and what is the Canadian national anthem, not sure I know. And will Betty Fox light the Olympic torch in Vancouver? And so sad about Joyce McQueen, my heart goes out to her family. Oh well getting late and I guess I will sign off, my sweet grandbaby is staying over and finally went to sleep, yea I can now do the same.

Hello everyone, if anyone is out there to read my first post. I live just outside of Dallas, Texas and boy do we have the snow, record amount. If fact where we are I would say close to 14 inches. It is just so beautiful and peaceful, quiet and serene. I never thought I would ever see this much snow here. And of course the little cottage on Houston St, my home is covered beautifully. I guess if I can't have spring yet I will take the snow. At least it is better than all the rain we have had in the past few months. I am even afraid I lost some of my perennials in all the rain, but I hope not. We moved into the little cottage several years ago to downsize in our lives, our two children were pretty much grown (although they never really grow up) but you know what I mean. My daughter was married and my son just about ready to go off to college. We now I have a beautiful wonderful granddaughter and my son is off to school at Texas A & M and now we have the little cottage to fix up the way we like. I will post pics from time to time to show my progress and hope to get suggestions from all you gals out there who love to decorate as much as I do, in the tradition of Rachel Ashwell's shabby chic which I just love. But also the white cottage look too. I am also a fanatic about gardening and growing anything, anything at all, especially if it produces a beautiful flower or something we can eat.
